Reblog: A negative becomes a positive? An emergency room success story… hopefully!

I’ve said all along that my quest to improve emergency services for mental health patients has nothing to do with pointing fingers or vilifying anyone. I simply want things to get better.

See my orginal post: The case for mental health reform: Hospitals and emergency care.

That’s why it makes me so very happy to read of this recent success story… maybe… Morgan, a college student and mental health sufferer in Michigan published an op-ed in the local newspaper. Read about it and what happened as a result here. Hopefully this will lead to some big changes!

“I published an Op-Ed in The Michigan Daily yesterday, an Ann Arbor newspaper run by University of Michigan students…” myocdvoice.wordpress.com/2019/09/19/op-ed-in-a-newspaper/
