Friendly Friday photo challenge: Nighttime

Something I noticed about my rather extensive photo file just today… I don’t hardly ever take photos at night. The only ones I could find were these awesome ones of the Magic Kingdom castle.

Maybe I’m getting old and my night life is dwindling. This makes me rather sad. I feel like running out and tearing up the town tonight…

…oh but wait, we still have this coronavirus b*llsh*t to contend with! Ah, FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU…. dge!

This week’s Friendly Friday Photo challenge on Something to Ponder About: Nighttime

  1. Nice work, JoAnn! The colors are all the more extraordinary as they positively pop from the nighttime surroundings. You have a good eye for capturing the perfect moment in time.

Much as I love sunshine, nurture optimism and enthuse about the Enlightenment, there’s just something unmatched about darkness’s appeal. The atmosphere and the aesthetics thrill like nothing else.

Oh, you worked at Disney? So did my aunt, the summer between high school and college. Of course, this was long ago, in the early-to-mid-Seventies, not long after the park opened. I believe she worked in one of the confectioner’s on Main Street. It probably isn’t call “Main Street” anymore.

    • Actually it is still called Main Street, USA. The best thing about working there is being able to go to the parks whenever you want. The downside was just about everything else. 😆
Actually I enjoyed my time working there and miss it in many ways.
Yes, we have to have the darkness to balance everything else out, don’t we? Such an odd aspect of life.
